Rips you off, and then disappears. Let's start a fund to get you that $60 because some asshole ignored you, shipped you a broken shocks saying that they worked. Karma will get to that dickhead.

 

Yeah I remember the older thread......sounds like he just doesn't have the money......or is a flake that doesn't care, or both.
If he only has a few bucks to his name....how the hell is he able to make payments on his truck or gas, or insurance, or registration? His Parents?

It doesn't matter to me whether it's 1 cent.......or billions of dollars, if you owe them money you need to pay it back.
But having said that, $60 bucks ain't that bad. You may have to just bite the bullet.

There's a few things you can do here:

1. Keep bugging (no pun intended lol) him in till he pays up, may have to also contact his parents.

2. May have to bite the bullet and let it go.

3. Could take him to small claims court. But granted this is only for $60 bucks, so it's not even worth the trouble.

$60? he doesn't have $60? $2 to his name? He has bigger problems then, he should sell his truck and everything else he owns.

I'd sue him for the full amount of the purchase price, + shipping + you time in court. This is out and out fraud in the legal system so there is no way you would lose. Heck, i would even tack on the $50 for small claims court filing fees.

You could file locally and he would have to come to you and if not you get a default judgement that will sit with him for 10 years.

Even better, this is a federal offense because the fraud was committed via mail.

Dont give up, that lets people think its okay to pull this crap

mechanics lien is if the op was to work on bugslife's truck and he didnt pay. Only a registered repair shop can put a mech. lien on a vehicle


IMO $120 is not worth small claims court. driving around filing the forms etc. not worth it.

Op you are doing the right thing. you gave him a chance called him out, he admitted fault and offered to meet you half way and didnt so you call him out again...

He should pay up but the legal route will be more of a pita then its worth. At least you get the satisfaction of everyone here on your side and the seller is all alone, broke, and pathetic all by himself...
