But some of them had turbos, which makes them slightly tolerable. It was like a SRT4 but... shittier...?
    Big oof
Don't you EVER accuse me of owning a Ranger

New vehicles are nice, but its so nice to bash things off trees and rocks and laugh about it. That's why I LOVE my crawler.

I tanked my rocker in the woods while sliders were on order. I bought it to have fun, I had fun, at least I'm the one who did it and not some nimrod in a parking lot. So, I'm fine with it. Once reason I may trade it in sooner than later is because of that though. Oopsies. I have seen a TON of jeeps on Facebook in the 2k range, as long as it can pass inspection and be street legal that's all I need, otherwise let's bounce off a tree, who cares! Very tempting. Even with the tacoma, very tempting.

Woah! MA is a dropping percentage based on original MSRP, so the value is almost always way less than what the vehicle is actually worth (except possibly on a brand new vehicle or on something so beat it's only worth a few hundred bucks). And it's $25 per thousand.

In 2025, my 2020 will have an excise bill of about $100 per year for the rest of its life. That's the minimum value--10% of original MSRP. The state says my original MSRP is only $40kish for some reason too. I don't think they take trim levels into account.

We found a good spot, but were only able to get about 60-70 yards. I need to do some opening up across the river and get a nice long field into a hillside going. He got a new ruger, it was a nice gun!

I like them both, but prefer the black center. I also second that they'd be nice all year.

The new ram is a :101010: based on my experience and everyone I know with one. The fords getting long in the tooth IMO (still like the SD alot) and the Chevy/GMC has just not been doing it for people. I don't see the "new" ford update doing anything, I think RAM will continue to see a climb. If I were getting a fullsize it's the only one I'd look at.

For winter wheels, just plasti-dip them and be done with it! I wouldn't waste the money on powder coating steel winter wheels.
Probably a little of both but the new Chevy 1500s are growing on me. They're not nearly as bad as the 2500s. Ram's come much better dressed a lower cost entry point than the other 2 and they do look and ride nice. Time will tell if Ram has addressed any of their reliability issues...
The PT Loser got more than enough love. That thing was an absolutely worthless pile of steaming shit. Worst car I've ever had to drive and I've driven some rust bucket POSs.

Your Taco can very happily tow a trailer with a Jeep on it... My FJ pulled my crawler everywhere! :notsure:
They are actually pretty popular up here!

I'm not denying that they're pieces of shit though.... that's a given

Have you met me? Spending money on things that shouldn’t have money spent on them in my thing.

My Vette’s starter is borked. I pop started it which ruled out the anti-theft system. Luckily it’s under the exhaust manifolds which means it’s pretty impossible to grab without a lift. The rare throw money at the problem solution looks appealing.

I’ve been down that road before, and I know where it leads. I’m throwing in the towel for now.

It’s already got a Corsa catback. It’s the perfect compromise between loud for being loud and stock. Besides if I did headers, I might as well do a cam and a tune, and then I’d be staring at 400 wheel.

I’d rather buy another car for what I’d spend. That’s what prompted my original Toyota pickup. The wheels/tires I wanted for my STi were nearly $4,500 all said and done, and I was like “I can get a whole other vehicle”.

I liked the Corsa catback i had on my GMC. Sounded just right.

Headers go hand in hand with a lumpy cam as well.
I have Hooker Super Comps on the Nova and 2 1/2" Borla true duels. Cam is same as a LT-1, but with hydro instead of solid lifters.

I couldn't see paying that much for a brand known to be unreliable. Especially when it looks like an overweight Renegade.

Do you like the 5th Gen 4Runner OR wheels? I may have a set available...
