CH4x4’s rearview camera switch came in the mail today. Switch looks great. Can’t wait to get this anytime back up camera hooked up. Does anybody know what color wires on the harness match what color wires on the switch?

Since Easthill Bob aka Rivetnut Bob aka official 3rd gen greeter was busy a week ago doing all his mods, it inspired my to do a major detail on my truck. No mods and no pictures, let’s face it, you all have seen clean trucks. I tried something different today. I used Pledge to wipe down my door panels, console, dashboard, plastics, and my rear seats. I saw someone on YouTube do it to their leather and they said it worked great. I didn’t want to try on the front seats just yet. I even cleaned the engine bay and scrubbed the bed of my truck. About the only thing I didn’t clean was the frame and inside the tires. Not very exciting but very fulfilling.

Edit: I misspoke earlier...that was supposed to be Mayor of the 3rd gen thread.

I only wish I would have ordered them before damaging my bedside. I swerved at highway speeds to avoid a collision. The bed flexed pretty hard with the topper. I was able to fix the dent and make it unnoticeable, mostly...

I have the same rims except 16" and in black but on your truck I think the bronze looks great. The only bummer is the tablespoon of water that always stays in the lip of the rim after it gets wet, im sure you'll see what I mean eventually lol.

I put 1" Bora spacers all around. I bought them from (someone?) here last year (crazy) and they were just sitting in my shop (hey I'm old!)

Firstly I actually can feel a difference when driving. Turns and tracks easily and better. Maybe all in my head!

1" is hardly noticeable in looks, just makes my tires look skinny!!

I dread lifting tires/wheels (hey I'm old!). So I bought this - made the job doable (but still a little tough):

Detailing? I wish! The upland bird season starts here next month. By the end of the season I could plant and grow tomatoes in the back seat. Kind of a rolling greenhouse if you will. :goingcrazy:

Ages ago (late '94-'02) I worked at a shop making decals for semis, boat numbers, windshield banners, etc. I really haven't done anything similar since.

But the all black Taco needs some color.

Phase 1, get back in tune with steady hands. I freehanded some heritage stripes on the grill. I'm pretty pleased with how it went.

Phases 2 and possibly 3 will be decidedly more difficult but I'm excited about it. You guys probably won't be, though.

I’m running 5.29’s, 33’s and the advanced throttle on regular gas tune. Definitely smoothed things out and polished it. Gears are still the big performance mod.

So what you was your reason to jump to 5.29 instead of 4.88 with 33's? Just curious

Installed the Subaru/Kicker tweeters I got from @seats1comfortably. Sounds great now with the speakers upgrade complete. The tweeters really do add to it. My g/f even commented it sounded better now.

Bastards! You know I can’t resist that.

    I told my wife over a nice dinner out after she had a few beers. She said;

“You have a problem when it comes to your truck, we need to talk about that.”

    then,

“You can get your hood IF you steam clean the carpets in the house”

Looks great! I’m itching to get some new tires too, almost bought a used set of those bronze 305’s locally for a great price, but couldn’t convince myself Id like ‘em on my SSM with an MGM shell. Those taillights though, they add a nice touch. Are those from tacomabeast?
