If you’re going to do all that, you should get a blower also. Since you’re tuning and everything...

This is really a great example of "i know what I have". I caught multiple examples of him never seeing that any where else. IT IS THE ONLY ONE:rasta:

I’m done buying wheels for the time being...I’ve had 10 sets between 2 Tacomas...I think I’m good.

The Magnusson blower when the car was new didn’t void the GM power train warranty. Realistically I’d do a Procharger. A friend got 580 wheel in his GTO and I don’t think he had a cam.

I'm trying to avoid multiple sets of wheels this time around. I only was up to 3 sets though.

I looked into the procharger when I had my WS6. I wasn't ready to sink that much cash into a car already getting me into trouble though.

I didn’t. Will probably take my sliders off for the winter and bring it in. I wouldn’t normally take them off seasonally but if they have to come off for the repair...might as well.

I've got 6 sets between the two cars, which is about as logical as I can rationalize.

    Truck
    • OEM 3G OR bare wheels - I still kinda dig em, and I don't want to sell off the stock parts. If I ever change my mind about the beadlocks, they look pretty decent with a meaty tire on them.
    • TRD Beadlocks - my three season tire
    • FJ Steelies - the winters
    • 2G/3G SR5 Steel Wheels and old winters - the trade in the truck before it's cool to still have all the original parts / truck got totaled and I need to throw something on it to roll on wheels.
    Vette
    • BBS LMs - the day to day wheels
    • OEM Wagon Wheels - winter storage wheels so I don't flat spot my tires
    • OEM thin spoke wheels - got em for free, tried to strip the clear and screwed them up royally. The original plan was to flip them, so that's what I'm tryign to do.
For the first time in awhile, I think I'm good with what I've got. I still have a few things to install/do, but nothing pressing, and nothing I'm motivated to do. The JL stealth box looks appealing, but $700+ is a hard pill to swallow considering it doesn't come with an amp.

I don't know who is worse. The 96 Ram 12v Cummins owners that have every possible color body panel imaginable, completely rusted out, knowing what they have... Or this dude who is asking $150,000 for a Ram with a $400 cold air intake, a $400 appearance package, and a RARE CD PLAYER OHMYGODDDDDDDDDDD

Every time he says "RAM", it adds 10K to the price.

The CD player is a $600 option for the Uconnect system, or at least it was for the Jeep when we bought ours. I was blown away it was that pricey. Granted, I haven’t used a CD player since 2008, but still.

Actually, I take it back, I used the CD player on my Tacoma once and it promptly ate the CD and I had a heck of a time getting it back.

$600 is actually cheap for OEM unit.

    What is a CD?
That's actually not bad at all. I remember in 2017 when Subaru updated the Impreza, and deleted the CD player. I had quite a few customers come in wondering where the slot was for the CD. I then had to inform them that only the limited trim included a CD player... Quite a few were pissed about that.

I haven't listened to a CD in a vehicle for years. Other than that one shitty 5 Finger Dick Punch CD that came in my crawler... And Adele... Don't judge me
