Yes I'm still doing tundra racks. Trying to get caught up with orders right now actually.

The steering geometry doesn't change a significant amount.

If you can go to a hiemed steering after the conversion I recommend it.

I provide new weld in frame barrels and hardware with every rack I sell.

We do not modify tundra racks as they change the steering resulting in additional bump steer along with reducing steering angle. We do a slide rack, Howe TC pump/resi/cooler and quickner

Yes you loose a little steering angle and the bumpsteer does change...checked my truck and over 18" of travel bumpsteer changed 1/8th inch....
Different LT kits prolly produce different results...but having been in race cars with more travel and more bumpsteer you honestly cannot tell with big tires they deflect over 1/2" alone when smashing through stuff...on paper yes the bumpsteer changes...in the real world you can't tell...up to you.

Thats a nice lil kit of parts...running that TC pump through a stock rack? Haven't overheated the pumps?...the gpm on the TC pumps is quite a bit higher than a stock pump. And the rack ports are pretty restrictive. Just asking cause I've tried the same pump...big power steering cooler and cooked a pump because of it. Doesn't hkwe make a regulator valve setup too? So the fluid doesn't dead head essentially and build heat...instead it free circulates the excess?

This setup was designed and built around the Tacoma rack specifically, all of your concerns have been addressed by Howe

So I’m looking at the JD fabrication LCA mount thingmabop, does that allow for the use of skid plates? I have pelfreybilt skids right now and planning on 4x4 Inov. Or BAMF skid plates, but don’t want to sacrifice skid plates for LCA mounts

Yeah it looks confusing to me too. Is it a single piece that welds on? Looks like steering rack sits inside of it (maybe I'm wrong). Looks like it'd make things a pain to work around.

In the photos it looks welded to the pipes on the sides.

EDIT: unless what I'm seeing isn't spot welds and are flush fit hex key bolts.

It looks like there’s a small plate right under the oil pan, but nothing angled up to towards the front bumper, also looking to have skids cover the trans and T case

It come with a high clearance, easily removal steel or aluminum skid... both versions have a steel diff sump. The skids are removable via 5- 3/8 flush head Allen bolts. Pelfrey skids are very easily adapted and fit the LCA mounts, you will however loose about an 1 1/2” of ground clearance vs the skid the kit comes with.

5 flush head Allen’s and the whole skid comes off... with a impact gun I can remove the entire skid in 30 seconds as the tabs use clip nuts making life as simple as possible

Ok. Someone who knows better give me the pros and cons to JD vs Marlin. I wanna clear 37’s. I have 8” King’s and 12” rears for a three link. I’ve been waiting on Marlin since last August. I literally sold my 03 double cab dual case SAS for this kit. I’ve about given up. If JD’s is an option I’m in.

Marlin you can clear 37’s with no body chop. I already have a CMC and pinchweld flatten. I clear 35’s with a 2” leveling kit up front. No rubbing with normal driving.

Most people dont realize that the marlin crawler rclt doesnt claim that you dont have to cut fenders. And if you look at his truck, it has glass. People miss that. I think that's how he got away from cutting the fenders.

He has cut fenders, it’s not glass. I’m planning on cutting the fender opening up a bit. Keeping a small amount of plastic fender trim. I’m ok with that, but not tubing the firewall.
