I’m running 265/70/17 wildpeaks with 1.5 Wheel spacers. I read so much that this typa set up doesn’t rub. But mine rub????? Wtheck man.

planning to prob take off wheel spacers or trim the back fender liner.

What do u think? I like the look a lot with spacers, but dunno if it’s worth it.

I think the general consensus is that it will rub the mudflaps with that tire and spacers. I plan on those tires with that offset so I'm gonna remove the mudflaps

I just got 265/75R16 today and have no rub with 0 lift. Both mud flaps still on. I think the spacers are what’s doing it to you.

+1 for the spacers being the issue. The tires have a wider turning arc when they're pushed out farther from the hub.

Check to see how much/where it's rubbing. Removing the mud flaps, heating/massaging the inner wheel wells, or trimming are your best bests.

Adjustable upper control arms like SPC can help but the other suggestions above are free.

same setup here, my KO2's rubbed the inner fender liners - a little work with a heat gun and all was good.

I stick with oem size ... bunch of people will say it doesn’t rub ...who knows if there full of crap or legit it’s a forum .Only way I would ever put bigger tires on my truck is with a lift to avoid any headaches later . My best advice is if your sitting on stock suspension just stick with oem size tires . Best of luck .

Im running the same size with the same spacers with stock height on my 2017.
Mine is not taken off road but I still had to trim the air dam about 1" on the sides and trim the front of the inner fender where a nub sticks out on them.
Only time it rubs now is a once in awhile a little bit when I turn and back into the driveway which is on a slope. I can live with that.

It’s only “no rubbing” on stock wheels (or TRD wheels) with no spacers. Spacers and wheel offset change everything.

I assume it's the front only rubbing? Take off 1 spacer and see if it doesn't rub. Spacers are bunk anyway. It changes the geometry of the suspension. It increases the leverage against the springs. It doesn't help off-road.

I know the folks that make/sell spacers say it changes nothing on the suspension and they’re safe. But understand when used they change the steering geometry and introduce a spot of potential failure.

    I agree that it’s the spacers I got 265/76/16
    And no rub whatsoever.

You're poking out 1.50" more than OEM due to your spacers.
In my setup, I come close to rubbing (but don't), and I am only poking out 1.18" (difference being wheel offset)

My guess is the most you can go with is 1.25" without rubbing on OEM rims. Though I'd go 1" to be on the safe side.

There is a area that bumps out on the inner fender in front of the wheels that sticks out about an inch. I trimmed that down . The rub I have now is the back of the tire against the inner fender which only seems to happen when I back into the driveway turning my wheels. It doesn't do it when I back in slow. Its obviously close though. Have someone turn your wheels while you watch. You should be able to see what needs done.
My truck is just used around town. I don't go off road. You may still want to consider a lift if you are doing more with it.
