Its actually very easy to modify the aluminum. when making wire slots by hand I use a step bit (everyone should have a couple step drill bits in their arsenal... the future is now) for the ends of the slots and then just a little cut off wheel on the end of a Dremel to connect the two holes. The step bit give you a nice radius on the corners.

Orrrrrr.... I completely forgot I had these made up along time ago. The bend got a little too close to the cut out and deformed the hole slightly when bending so the idea of add a circuit breaker bracket just got pushed to the back of the shelf and forgotten about. I mean if for nothing else, just saying "add a circuit breaker bracket" it's pretty fun all on its own lol

If anyone asks if it will hit their aftermarket hood struts I'm going to loose it

I like that look a lot! Even if I could just buy that piece off you and mount it separately that would work great. I’ll take a look at my truck today and PM you later.

BUUUUUUUTTTTTTT....those hood struts I mounted on Thursday :facepalm:do put a damper on this whole plan.

@XPOTRPR has done a couple of new runs. Just got mine on Fiday, 2 day USPS Priority Express included. @XPOTRPR

Excellent build quality. I'm impressed on finish.

I angled the tray up 45 degrees and then put the rear ( closest to driver) bolt in, hand- tightened to nearly tight. I then used it as a hinge and put in front screw. I ordered another factory bolt for the front hole. I engaged the threads by hand from fuse box area, then did most of tightening with a flex shaft extender through the negative bus bar cutout.

I plan to final tighten using Maverick's, @mrpowertray, two extension rod technique, but still have a bit of test fitting for my OGE dual side by side battery tray and Intelligent Battery System ( IBS) http://ibs-tech.ch/en/products/dual-battery-system.html

I mounted my dual ARB compressor on the passenger side, adjacent to the windshield washer fluid reserve. Slee Off Road has mounting kits for dual and single kits. NOTE: Might be a good idea to change your fluid sensor and grommet while you have the reservoir out.

    Appreciate the kind words!

Since I'm in here... @Mr.PowerTrays have you ever done a tray for a taco with a Supercharger? I've been needing to re-do my wiring, and will be doing a dual battery setup here soon, so was going to do it all at once. I hadn't seen anything available, so was going to try and come up with one. I have a waterjet at work and was just going to put a single bend in it for mounting.

Some of the trays I do but unfortunately the switch pro mounts vertically and doesn't allow for the clutch fluid reservoir relocation bracket I use to be installed. I do have some a couple of the original style which mounts it horizontally that are compatible with the clutch fluid reservoir relocation. Or you can always take on the relocation yourself by popping two M8 riv-nuts in the upper fender closer to the firewall and moving it so that the clutch fluid reservoir is out of the way.

hahaha in all honesty I think the hood struts are mounted closer to the front so I don't think they would interfere If you were to mount it where my picture shows.

It's for sharing your install tips! What did you need to order another bolt for? You should've gotten two JIS M8 bolts with your order...

Great compressor mount option that doesn't interfere with any dual battery installs or the PowerTrays location

No the problem is half of the supercharger installs will mount that reservoir cooler thing (The name escapes me) close to the fender and the other half mounts it closer to the engine… Too many variations to design and keep stocked unfortunately.

But the new universal standoff version works great and still gives you easy access to all your OEM fuses should the need arise. Here's a picture of a prototype installed on a 2nd GEN that has a supercharger as well.

Yeah, that and how the cooler lines and routed.

But looking at that picture.. that might work perfectly actually. My setup would be similar to that. I'm currently running a switchpro and a bluesea fuse block.

Ultimately I'd like to run my SwitchPro and an even smaller fuse block and add a Power/Ground distribution block. Something similar to that pictured I'm guessing? Electrical is not my forte.

I've actually been thinking about making this design with the Blue Sea 4 circuit instead of the 6 cir w/ground because it would save a ton of space.

Tell me more about why are you want a power/ground distribution block?

perfect. 4 would probably be enough for me, plus the Switchpro.

Well, if I dont NEED them then even better. I just have a lot of dedicated 12v accessories tied into my main positive terminal. Winch, 120w Headlight upgrade, stereo. same with my main ground point. Both are just over run if that makes sense.
