I found this list interesting. Montana and Wyoming where at the bottom. Apparently there are a lot of crimes and accidents in Wyoming.

haha. they list "internet access". that doesn't feel like a requirement to me but i guess it is for some people. also, "rainfall" somehow made Utah do okay. Interesting. hahaha.

I didn't even think about that. I mean, an occasional trickle I'm fine with.

That is one arbitrary set of criteria. Rhode Island?! Who the fuck wants to camp there?

I seriously would like to do all 50 states.

Are you planning to do to the Utah BDR?

I’ve been through, stopped or stayed in 49 states so far, just missing Hawaii. Still not sure I need to camp in them all. My parents took us on a million road trips when we were kids in a little Toyota sun raider RV. And I have been on road trips through 36 states in the last 3 years. I’d like to see all the states again as an adult.

I am definitely going to do the Utah BDR. Not sure when exactly yet. My wife and I are moving from Milwaukee back to Albuquerque in a week and a half. Then we are doing a quick Colorado trip to hit hit back bear and imogene pass before they close.

I was thinking about doing the Moab Rocktober Therapy weekend. But don’t like that it coincides with the Jeep jamboree.

October/November for the BDR route maybe? I am now wondering if snow will be an issue that late on the the BDR?

I have driven/camped/wheeled in Utah maybe a 12-15 times but still have so much exploring to do there. I am so psyched to be moving back to the southwest so I can get back to adventures. The Midwest has been hell.

I’d also like to do the Kokopelli and Rimrocker trails. And exploring more in SE UT

One wheel bearing and brake pad change in the books. Hope that fixes @Kpatt9 s vibes issue.

Damn! That’s a lot of camping. I’ve only been in Utah and Wyoming for camping. I’ve been to a lot of places, just not in camping way.

Are you wanting to do the whole route from south to north in one shot? If so, weather will more than likely be an issue.

I’m wanting to do it in pieces. I would like to start with Mexican Hat to Monticello and then Monticello to Moab. Maybe do those two routes at one time the first part of October.

I was also considering ROCKtober. Maybe do the Monticello to Moab at that time.

I’m not sure what kind of access there will be in the Manti-La Sal (Monticello) area in October.

Guess I won’t be doing the whole route this year since it’s snow dependent and I can’t swing that kind of time before the snow flies. But I damn sure will be doing pieces of it and other Utah wheeling this fall winter.

I’m not sure about Rocktober. I don’t love busy times at popular places.

If your goal is security google PEN Testing. Depending on how that door is installed it could be super easy to open without a key.

Well that was just a placeholder image, but the door I have now can be pen tested quite easily by a size 9 work boot.
