Just sold my old Jeep today. Got pretty much what I wanted for it. Sad to see it drive off with out me but feel like it went to a good home and it won't be forgotten
Now I'm enjoying the Tacoma and thinking about how much I should pay down my loan and what things I want for the truck with some of it.

I am with you 100%. For the price it can't be beat. You carry and go so you are car camping right away. I just wish a few designers would get a hold of the design and create the same concept but apply some of the thinking and design used by the roof top tent makers. Keep the price under $300 and they could sell a ton of them. It is sort of like the small RVs. Been looking at those as well but my god do they have to be so ugly? Who designs those colors and those graphics? It is painful.

Congrats on selling your jeep ... I know that it meant a lot to you and it took a bit longer because it got it hit. :)

Glad you are enjoying your new truck. Not sure about paying it down but you know that depends on your specific finances and your interest rate, etc. Good luck on getting what you need for the truck. I had good fun flipping through the Toyota accessories brochure (link below) and putting together a phase 1, 2, 3 kind of approach. For me it is more about the time than anything else.

    I am with you ...

When posting here I try to follow the same general rules that I follow in real life: Am I being helpful? And I being kind? Am I being respectful? Having not walked a mile in everyone's shoes I find those three general rules help me stay out of trouble.

One other thing ... if someone posts something I don't like, disagree with or feel is redundant, I tend to scroll on by it. I don't think it is productive to point out "gee, another post on tire sizes, etc." I mean you can simple ignore that post since there are so many other things to focus on here. Of course, maybe that is just me. I am a sucker for tire threads, for some reason. :)

Im in SE off Burnside and Oh most definitely. I was in Miami in January of 2014 and the second i walked off the plane the humidity hit me. Only way ive ever described it to people who dont understand is its like the air is permanently filled with swamp ass and ball sweat LOL. I had to walk around with a rag in ny pocket wiping my face and that was in January. I cant imagine when its actually hot there

Honestly I don't know, another tw fella stationed at Moody told me about the @runnin4tacos ones and I got to see his in person, much better looking than the chrome factory. Seem pretty good quality and for $90 not terrible priced. About a minute install on each side.

I think it's just part of evolving into our higher selves. Sometimes it's also not linear, or without hiccups. I strive to achieve a better me, so as to also show my kids that it takes work to be a good/better person and hopefully leave my little corner of the world a better place.

Not at all. Seriously! Google is her friend. She's inquisitive and likes to learn about things that she's either curious of or wants to learn more about. She's even been learning about firearms. Which really won't affect me too much since she already knows a new one when she sees one. Ya don't slide nuthin' passed my Mrs, I know, I've tried. Been trying for over 46 years......., I finally gave up!
I have a friend that figured it out though. When he wants a new rifle he just buys the same model only in a different calibre. Now that's devious.....
    Sorry colonel! :D

I seldom agree with those on the different sides of a conversation. Both good points and worthy of thought. Civility is where it's at!

    Poor man's RTT. I'm in!
Have looked at these myself, don't think they'll work with my BakFlip because of the way it folds up. :frusty:

Thanks man! The body shop that I use is incredible. They did a great job fixing the door on the Jeep from Mr No License.
I think I'm about over with the Toyota genuine accessories except for a bed mat. I have found some deals on those on the online parts site but the dealerships with the best price under $90 are 50-70 miles away. Shipping is over $30,
the free shipping deal that was a few months ago is over.
I'm looking at seat covers, maybe speaker upgrades. thinking about a small lift 2" but I will wait until these tires wear some, cus you always need tires once you lift.
