    Photo Sep 05, 13 03 20.jpg Photo Sep 05, 13 03 31.jpg Last Monday, I added a 2019 Tacoma DCLB to my driveway. Bye bye FJ. :(

It has rained every day for a week since we picked this up but today is a glorious sunny & 72 day so I am compelled to tinker.

In the back of the truck I found these holes, already rusting with crappy plugs to cover the ragged holes. I spent some time removing the sharp edges from the holes and put some rustoleum on the bare metal.
I do not have plugs that small but I can plug the largest hole, which I think was used for wiring as it had a grommet instead of a plug. Not sure though. I'll get small plugs for the rest today or tomorrow.

Here are the pics. If you know what was in there, please let me know.
    Thanks.

    stuff and things...
i would have guessed bed stiffeners as well, but the squares scratches around the holes make me think otherwise...

No no, those are bed stiffeners, but the person put tape around the area and spray painted the holes.

Those are mounting holes for cali raised bed ones.

and it looks like they had a cb radio too judging by the 1 big hole.

EDITED for new reason about those marks.

As far as I know, cali raised is the only company that has that 4th hole on front side of the rail. So I am more assuming thats the brand.

I just watched their install video and that sure looks like a great guess. Thanks again.

like everyone else is saying those sets of holes are bed stiffeners, and the second set (larger and small on the other side) looks like it might have been a pressurized water system, or an air system.
