I'd like to leave it up to the others; this was just a gathering of those that socialized often together (whether in person or via forum).

I wouldn't tell anyone No really, was just hoping to keep it small and simple.

Realistically, many won't go but it'd still be cool to have a nice little group to hang out with and wheel/talk shit/etc

 

I dont think Ill be able to formally join. My fam is flying in on the 9th and leaving in the 18th. Depending on the schedule, i might be in moab the 16 or 17th though. Could swing by and say hi for a bit.

I wasn’t trying to invite myself or anything because I know it’s all you knuckleheads from the Lunchable thread You guys are definitely hitting it at the front end of the ideal timeframe, tho. September is awesome and October is damn near perfect.

 

I forgot about this lol. I was actually planning a mid-late October Moab trip with some friends... good chance we'll be there at the same time but that's pending some new work scheduling for me

 

This looked enticing a while back when we first discussed it. Unfortunately, I’ve had a few developments that take this trip off the possibility list. Just recently made a trip to northern Utah for a different trip and have plans to do a weekend at Bigbear for the annual San G “Family” reunion https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/6th-annual-2020-san-g-family-reunion-9-25-27.659256/

The only requirement is to read through some of the lunchtable thread. If you get a little uncomfortable there, meeting us all in person probably isn't for you...

Oh, by the way, I've been building up a Google Earth KMZ of potential campsites and a ton of trails. LMK if you want a copy, and PM me your email, I'll send it out.

I stole a bunch of it from the web, and added campsites and stuff.

If you have BackCountry Navigator on your phone, it will import KMZ files.

Funny thing tho is I've been wanting to go back and clean a lot of them up. I'm confident they'll hold, they just look like shit.

 

That's why this is staying in the 1st gen section, not being posted in the Moab section of the off-road forum...
