I came across a bed mat on Facebook Marketplace for $50. Do it or skip it?

Agreed. When Toyota released their promo photos for the redesign in 2015 and the truck was the blazing blue, I told myself I'm gonna find one (probably used) in a crew cab. It took about 3 years, but I finally found one (used) with all the options I wanted. Like a lot of others on here, I've probably poured enough money into mine to make a new mint, but I don't care. As my dad used to say, "Can't take it with you when you're dead."

In almost 2 years of ownership, my ONLY legit complaint is when my 3rd brake light started leaking (a known issue). Sadly, truck is out of warranty, but overall, I'd give it 8 out of 10.

A lot of people like the truck and the color. There are several Tacos in my area. They are black, silver, and white. But have yet to see another in my blue.

I'll probably be selling the Pro shifter and a black collar from Meso, still in the packaging.

Surprisingly easy to remove the collar and get it adjusted. It's heavy as hell and feels pretty good in the hand. Definitely one of my favorite mods.

Yumpin yimmine, if its in good shape snap it up before someone else does. Tell the seller that if condition is as stated that it's sold! Leaves you some room if you don't like his description.
Tip. When I buy or sell something like that on line I ask to meet in a safe place. Police dept parking lot, fire dept. parking lot ect., someplace with video cameras or where there are a lot of people. Keeps both parties safe!
If it needs to be shipped it depends on shipping costs.
If shipping and the cost is high it's worth looking around. Under $100 out the door isn't out of the realm of possibilities just to give you a target point.

Washed and waxed the beast today. I have not washed my truck in a LONG time. There was a LOT of crud on it. I was out there a LONG time. My clay was shot, clay lube gone.....ugg.........lots of specs and hard stuff........black bits, bugs and bee poop............just took awhile. Knock on wood, very few scuffs, no scratches. Not bad for a truck that passed it's first year. I even got the concrete off the rear bumper.

I tried the Chemical Guys Torq Snow foam gun R1. Don't waste your time and money. What a POS. Fail. I did spray some foam with the thing. But the plastic QD would fail and launch the whole tank and front piece at my truck. And the QD latch just blew out completely and a spring flew into the bed of my Tacoma. I later found the spring on the concrete.

I do use the two bucket method but with soap in both, two kinds of soap and so on. I dry with ultra soft micro fiber and Eagle wax as you dry and waxed with Collonite 915. Labor labor labor.

I took the time to put a fix on the roof trim. Man Toyota choked on that one, but I had some 3M doubleback trim adhesive tape so it looks sweet and seems solid.

Lastly - Adams Tire Cleaner (recommended here or subie??), first time use with that. It seems to work pretty well, but even as I went through a WHOLE bottle for 4 tires, the K02's still have a brownish cast to them. They are better than before and I could actually see the brown junk dissolve and run off - BUT they are not black, certainly not a matte black as I had hoped. Any ideas? Treatment that isn't shiny?

We actually have a marked and monitored "internet exchange spot" at our EMS/fire station for exactly this sort of situation.

It’s not cheap, but really does a great job protecting. No sling, and it lasts a long time.
