Good deal if it was a manual?

Sounds like he wants a manual since those are trucks he is comparing. All these deals are autos so poor comparison. Seems like a good deal on a 2015 DCSB TRD sport MT with similar miles from my research is around 26,000 to 28,000.

These used car prices are silly right now. My 2015 double cab long bed sport 4x4 with 5k more miles than OP listing was $26,xxx after tax and all that bs just 5 months ago.

I have been on the fence about spending some money on my 1st gen or getting a newer truck since the beginning of this year. Used car prices are absolutely ridiculous right now, back in January it wasn't too hard to find a 2015 DC 4x4 with 50k give or take for $25k all day, now there $30k plus! The second Gen I like the front end better, 4.0/5 speed combo and most important the lack of safety nanny bullshit that I'm not interested in whatsoever. As you can see on cargurus a new 2020 TRDOR 4x4 can be had for $35k or so and a SR5 even less. You get a much improved interior, a better interest rate and a full warranty. The 3.5/6 speed auto, I've came the conclusion is just fine but you better plan on a 4.88s or 5.29s 1st if your going for bigger tires and added weight. I feel new is the way to go unless you score a hell of a deal on a low miles second gen. Or you find one with over a 100k miles for way less $$$.

I re read the OPs first post and forgot he was looking at MTs. Even better you should be able to find a new 6MT for 35k and not have to worry about regearing if he plans on adding bigger tires and weight.

    For a off-road that's a good deal. I get a extra set of wheels/tires so that's around what I paid for my 14 sport.

Sitting at the dealer now and getting a 2020 OR MT for 38750 OTD. Not the greatest deal, but seems reasonable based on the "what did you pay thread" More than I wanted to spend but less than I expected.

Thanks all for talking me out of the 2015!
