Those 33" tires really fill the wheel wells. How were they on the hwy to the cottage?

Driving wise, not bad. They do get loud around 110km/h but thats not much louder than the KO2s. Its noticable for me since my brain hasnt filtered out the sound yet. Brought it up to 140km/h passing some shmuck going 70 on hwy28....

What i did yesterday made it barely drivable on the road to the cottage. Turning left kept catching the inner fender and had to do some cutting at a McDs on my way over.

Got to the cottage, bought a new hydraulic jack today after finding my old 3lb mini sledge and went in to beat it down for round 2.
3lb mini sledge made quick work of the pinch weld but i might need to go in for round 3 since im not 100% certain if its down all the way.

Coated it with bedliner since i had a can in the truck from the bumper. Have not tested it since i took a 4 hour cat-nap due to a rainstorm and just woke up.:anonymous:

Ive been debating swapping the tires onto the OEM rims....

Looks like it. It looks like its just the plastics that grab - ive not noticed it grab the cab mount.
Will do some lighter ATV trails tomorrow to get a feel for it.

I need to sit down with someone to get a better idea what to do

It sounds bad, bad shouldn't damage anything major.

In terms of "what to do", you can continue to make them fit, or begin looking at suspension to help make it fit.....But if you are half way to making them fit, you never know.

Anyone have any experience with steering racks that didn't replace them with tundra rack.....Appreciate any insights.

I might be making it sound worse than it actually is. Its not undrivable, im just really cautious as i drive and dont have the confidence as i expected to have.

Deciding factor is how much money i want to spend on suspension. That number has not been decided on...

    Also my mum is short
Ive not sat down with you yet so i cannot accept this as a viable option.
