    Just because...
Love the AT tune with 5.29s except the top speed limit in 5th and 6th. Just for kicks today, I hit 115mph in 4th and was governed by the fuel shut off (Toyota factory limit) which caused an upshift. 5th remained governed until the truck was under 85mph - will not exceed 85mph in 5th and 6th gear.

the good news is that it cruises in 6th easily at that speed.

So I just went for a drive because I actually struggle to put miles on my truck, I only do 6-12 per day lol anyway, got curious about what @OVTune has been saying about how the truck feels to drive around everywhere in 4H and after 45 miles with a mix of city and highway, I gotta say I agree. The truck feels great to drive around everywhere in 4H lol that nice crisp, very direct feeling you get off-road is a nice experience on-road too.

However, seeing as I was already breaking enough long-cemented "common knowledge" habits as it is just by taking up to 90° turns in 4H, I returned briefly to 2H for any tight turns through parking lots and whatnot. But for everything else I did 4H and it really was a very nice experience. Didn't hear any drivetrain binding which is the thing that everyone always warns about so...:notsure:

I like how it drives in 4H better too. I did not notice this on my old wrangler. I’ve wondered if the little bit of extra resistance tricks the ecu into giving you more power. I find my truck also drives better with just the right amount of load in the bed, too. Maybe its all in my head.

I agree! Sadly in Texas we don’t get much snow if any. But it was a beast on dirt roads.

Glad I’m not the only one. I drive dirt roads in 4h a lot and noticed it drives way better. Same with the weight in the bed. If I don’t shovel the snow out of the bed in the winter for a few days it drives perfect. Just didn’t handle as well. Never experienced this in any other vehicle.

Not in your head. Cab loaded and pulling my trailer with two dirtbikes is a smooth ride.

And your bank account will be in trouble once that dodge starts acting like a dodge

For real man. Don't do a dodge. Not even from like a tribal chimp perspective, just a logical reliability perspective. I wouldn't let my ex drive a dodge.

I know.... I just hear such mixed reports. Either they fall apart and are nothing but trouble, or people say it's been a flawless experience. I'm going to test a few other brands before I make a final decision, but MAN those trucks drove nice

I just can't see putting more money into the Tacoma since I feel like I need more that it can offer at this point, and I can't afford to wait for 3 years to get a next gen Tundra (as much as I'm loathe to give Toyota more money, they retain value).

Is this going to help with one of the prevailing issues the stock programming still has?

Sometimes flooring the pedal coming out of a turn or maybe going up a hill, the vehicle definitely doesn't go 100% throttle, feels more like 50%.

This has been the biggest annoyance imo, really hope it can be fixed :fingerscrossed:

I frequently watch vehicle repair vids on YouTube and dodge is one of the worst offenders. Have u ever looked into their TIPMs?
