I can’t put Blantons or Bowman Single Barrel above Eagle Rare. I’ve got a Store Pick Eagle Rare and it’s one of my favorites on our shelf.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I found a Lagavulin 16 for 99 bucks, so win-win. Couldn’t locate many of the other suggestions; they sounded pretty interesting. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks again.

Hitting the jack pot at the beach. I’m good now on bowman bro. 28.99 a bottle for the small batch haha.

How’s the michters small batch? Was 34.99 so I grabbed a bottle. Never had any of the micthers line up.

As far as bt and blantons versus er. Er store picks are in a different league. I’ve had a couple store picks of bt that were wayyyy better then standard bt juice and leaps and bounds better then normal eagle rare.

For everyday production the bowman is hard to beat. Finishing a bottle now at my in laws at the beach. BC6AEE20-CC8B-4BE0-AB93-E22B8A075580.jpg

Guy said there’s at least one. Hopefully it’s still there. He said there’s a few other good bottles there too, but didn’t say what.
I’ll give you a call if there’s anything real yummy looking

Okay. I may not answer. I’ll be at the lake but I’ll keep an eye on the phone when I get off the ski for a “soda”

Just left actually. They only had one - but I asked the clerk and owner and they said they could get more. Plus other EH Taylor offerings, at close to retail. Gave them my card. It’s also down the street from a place I mountain bike so I’ll probably stop in again if I don’t hear anything.

O/T ;) wrong alcohol, but heads up for your Bourbon fans...This Robert Mondavo PRIVATE SELECTION BOURBON BARREL AGED CABERNET RED WINE...Is fantastic! Very mellow and finishes with a great caramel sweet bourbon finish. I recommend it! It's only like $10...Tried some tonight with a nice steak. As you can see, quite a bit missing...

It's like you read my mind. Beautifully marbled bone in ribeye. I swear there's not a better steak in the world than a ribeye grilled medium rare with just a tad of the fat charred.

Finally cleaned up my bunker (closet) to get backups and moving items up off of the floor. These shelves are pretty cheap on Amazon.
