Looks like this company is doing a pre-sale for those on the waitlist until the end of tomorrow. It was posted a few months ago in here I believe.

One of the best upgrades to a trail bike. Loved that shock; low weight, high adjustability, crazy good feel. Take some time to dial it in, it's worth it. The CC suggested starting point (with the app) are good, but are intended to suit a very wide range of riding conditions. Dialing it in to your riding style and terrain eek out that extra 20% of perfectness.

Well my SX derailleur just went kaput. Think the clutch basically imploded.

One ride on it and I must say, I’m pretty pleased. Picked this one up second hand and didn’t even change any of the settings from the previous owner. There’s a touch more pedal bob than compared to the Fox Factory DPS, but I think adding some LSC will help there. Small bump compliance was amazing! Night and day vs the air can.

I’d never ridden any of the trails I rode today. Probably not the most ideal way to ‘test’ a new shock but oh well. I was def more focused on the trail and features rather than concentrating on what the suspension was doing. My intention for getting the inline coil was to basically have the option to turn my TB into a pseudo Hightower for steeper terrain. After today, I think the coil may be a permanent fixture for the foreseeable future.

Im not much of a picture taker during rides, but I thought this small rock feature was neat.

Nah not the derailleur. Got the shifter upgraded to an NX because the SX shifter broke though.

now looking at the clutch, and the spring seems ok. Just not sure how to set it up right, any tips?

    Oh gotcha.

I know enough about the drivetrain to make all shifting issues worse. Honestly I get free B/G adjustments at my LBS so I rarely fool with them.

True. On the bright side, it’s already acting goofing. So you can’t make it worse I guess. So long as you can get everything sussed out by next weekend.

Quick question, Can new tires make it feel like my bike is harder to pedal?

I recently put DHF/DHRII Wide trail 3C/Maxxterra/exo+ on my bike. Coming from a white letter High Roller 2 exo. I feel like my bike is just a bear to pedal now. The guy I ride with typically hangs right with me when climbing but now he leaves me in the dust. I know it’s probably all in my head and my lack of fitness. But I’m curious if it could be tires.

Rotational weight with a heavier tire makes a big difference. As does a more aggressive and larger tire size.

That’s what I thought. Kinda took a leap on the dhf/dhr combo. Great for descending. Not so much for climbing.

Exo+ are heavy and the rolling resistance is no bueno. You probably gained 400-450 grams total too! What type of trails do you ride?

Anyone in the market for a tire set?

27.5 Maxxis High Roller II and Schwalbe Rocket Ron. Will also include extra 27.5 tube that I have. Would trade for 29” stuff.

Since tires are being discussed here, I have a noob question. Riding 29x2.20. What would be a general or all around good tire pressure recommendation?? I’ve been running around 19-20 or so, but tires say 30+.

19-20 sounds a little low to me but 30 sounds high. If it feels good I’d say run it where you’re at though. I run 25-28 on 27.5x2.35 and 12-15 on 29x3 and I weigh 220-230, just as a reference.

This company was founded by the guy that actually invented the 1up. My understanding is that there were some disagreements and others took over 1up. This is his new venture. Racks looks nice but real pricey.

Really depends on lots of things including weight, riding style, terrain, wheels, etc. Definitely don't run what your tires say on the side, that's usually a max psi. I usually run roughly 25 up front and 28 out back.
