Favorite of the day (so far) is the dude trying to calculate his loss in MPGs from adding weight.

    Apparently it's 2% per 100lbs. who knew!

Pretty safe to say Ive got this new Enfield dialed. 200 yards with factory ammo. Should tighten up some once I start handloading for it.

I found a remote for the 4Runner under a flap in the carpet. Not even a factory remote. But, it still works. No idea how long it's been there either. I only got one factory remote when I bought it. Now I have 4 or 5 I think since I got some flip key remotes off the 'bay.

Which you then have to divide by what toyota says is the best possible gas mileage recorded.

My 3rz ex cab should get 18mpg in the city. With 400 extra lbs I get 16.2 thats a difference of 1.8 which is .45 per 100lbs.

    18÷.45=40%

So thats a 10% per 100lbs of extra weight :stirthepot:

You forgot to factor in Tire pressure, treadwear and improper alignment.
The curvature of the earth is also a very significant factor unless you live at the North Pole where every direction you drive is downhill.

Damn you're right, I thought just giving engine size + gear ratio + tire size would be complicated enough but i forgot to factor in ALL those other things
