So im thinking of putting on a 6" lift on my taco and have a few questions. obviously the best way doing this is through new coilovers correct? any particular brand being the best? and how hard are these kits to install being an average mechanic? and total cost? and lastly how is the ride quality afterwards? thanks

    Six inches of lift?

You need a Drop Bracket lift, Fabtech and Procomp are the most popular.

RCD also makes a good lift but only gives 4-5 inches

Procomp and Fabtech use to have a section that went over the install. Check their website!

If I were to do it again I'd order a set of Icon 6" lift CO's.

The ride will be great! The DB lifts keep all the factory angles so if you use the stock shocks with the spacers? Then it will ride like stock!;)
