    Hey all,

So I'm looking to make some changes to my stock tacoma. I'm over seas right now so I'm not around my truck but im trying to get an idea of what im looking to do to it will work.

I plan on getting this lift

    Lift kit:

    https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...-75-lift-kit-for-a-2005-2016-2wd-5lug-tacoma/

And to put on 265-75r16 tires with a 16×8 wheel. I'm not too well versed with making truck mods so I'm asking for a bit of help and to see if there may be any issues with this.

I heard on a stock tacoma 265-75r16 will fit with no rubbing but I saw the link they recommend a 245-75-16r

    Would 265 be too big?

Oh nice, thanks for the pointer, I guess I'll go with the size that's on the website though. Would there be anything else I'd need for the lift? Like new shocks or anything?

That lift will work but it will ride rough, do you have original suspension still?

If you have oem shocks, just change them in the front with a
You shouldnt bolt spacers to old shocks, and you're removing them anyway, so change them

I'd recommend the 4600's all four corners. It will ride much better.

Yeah that's the safe answer but double check on TW to make sure. No new shocks needed unless your shocks are leaking a bunch of shock oil. You can replace them at the same time but it will add another 300-400 to the budget

Yeah i still have stock suspension, so 4600's are those blinstein shocks? I'm not worried much about the budget since I'm coming back from a deployment and have that little extra money to spend rn haha. So I'm a bit of a tard. So replace old shocks with new ones would be recommended for getting that type of lift? Also cut out the black box and would 31×10.5R15 be straight with it?

I looked at the recommended size from the lifts site which says 245-75r16 is the size to go with and 31×10.5r15 is about the same size I'm just sick of the stock truck looking like a pool guys work truck and im trying to make it look a bit better without it skipping on leg dag

I don't have a ton of experience with 5 lugs, they are suuuuuuuuper rare in Canada. But when I searched for 5 lug lift, the 4600 bilstiens kept popping up, they will handle the spacer lift better and the longer travel of the rear leaf.

4600's are the holy grail of replacement shocks, they are direct oem replacements but behave much better, very closely related to the 5100's which arent available to your truck unfortunately.

Most people lower 5 lugs not lift haha.
