I’m looking at the carhartt covers pretty hard.

I’ve read a lot of opinions- just wondering what thoughts are and what brought you to your decision? Seat cover options seem endless...

The mission for these are to protect the cloth seats from the Carolina mud and dog, while looking decent enough to be a daily driver (aka close to stock)

Superhide are really nice but you pay for them. I have a set in my F350. They fit really well and have held up well also. They're also customizable. I haven't looked at a set for the Tacoma yet but I'm sure they make them.

Truck's parked in the sun at the moment. I'll try and grab some later when it's less bright.

I consider them good because I like the heavy duty cordura nylon (like backpack material...not slippery & noisy) material. 100% waterproof.

I've had them since 2011 (ordered them the day I purchased my truck).

In that time, I've had dirty/wet hunting dogs ride in the back seat. I've thrown wet/dirty gear in my backseat. I duck hunt and fly-fish, and have driven with muddy & wet waders and they clean up super easy.

No experience with any other brands. All my friends who hunt/fish have them also.

Agree. Marathon. They never die. I slide out the truck and still haven’t even dented the edge. Super durable.

ok thanks for the explanation , they do look to be good . I have a neoprene type seat cover now and I don’t think they breathe very well
Under you , if that makes sense . I was also considering new covers myself. So you haven’t had and muck or liquids go thru them?

I've never removed them, but I don't believe I've had any leaks. No reason to think so.

Here's some pics. The driver's side isn't quite as tight/form fitting as it once was....just some minor stretching from nearly 10 years of driving, entering/exiting, etc. And it's damp as I just wiped it down with a wet rag. Grey in front and Mossy Oak Shadow Grass in rear.

And....dog hair is easily removed using the stiff brush on a shop-vac type vacuum.

Ha. Your Marathons look better than mine. I’m in/out truck all day doing dirty work. They get abuse. Taken out twice a year and washed. Nothing lasts as good. These going on 5yrs. Factory cloth seats last me 3yrs max before they torn to shi*

They are nice too , do they stay looking like that ? I mean in place or do they push to one side and you gotta pull them back in place to look that way

That’s kinda why I don’t like mine , they tend to push to one side from getting in and out of the truck and I gotta be straightening them
