I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, I couldn’t find anything when I searched. My trucks fob hasn’t been working lately to lock or unlock the truck, I changed the battery in both fobs and still nothing. The push start won’t even work when i push the break and push the button, it just says to hold the fob next to the button and push it, then it starts right up. I took it to Toyota and they said everything checks out and they have no clue what’s wrong. They want me to leave it for a few days, but I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue? No mods besides Meso puddles.

I forgot to mention that it fixed itself for a week and then started doing it again. It says key fob not found.

    6 Suggestions

    1) Were they brand new batteries? Or Chineesium?
    2) Any extra metal on your keychain/added to truck? Or minimalist? Faraday?
    3) Unhook truck battery for 10 minutes then retry
    4) Reset truck to factory in settings
    5) Dealer setup to make you upgrade
    6) OBDII Scan it if you have one

They scanned the truck and everything checked out. I did unplug the battery for about an hour and nothing. It was weird that it starting working again a week ago and then again started doing this. The thing I haven’t tried was change everything back to factory settings
