Back for some more Handy Randy advice. How has your #notasnorkel mod held up? Did you do anything else besides drill a hole for the hose? A couple other posts have people cutting holes for more air flow and what not.

It’s doing fantastic. No extra holes or cutting. Just the one large one for the hose.

I came to the realization this weekend I need to trim a little more off my front fenders. See that dent above the wheel well? I noticed an identical one on the other side. I’m almost certain it’s from the tire coming upward and grabbing the fender, pulling it inward a little bit. Since it’s at the tallest point of the tire and the same on both sides, it makes the most sense to me.

That’s the same pic from a week or two ago. Just the most recent one I had handy that showcased the dent.

Well my compressor took a shit today. It went to kick on and a nice puff of smoke came off the motor, and tripped the breaker. Turned it back on to see what would happen and it sparked and bunch and tripped again. It comes with a 3 year warranty so I’m going to take it into Lowe’s and get a new one. It’s probably from metal dust getting into the motor, so I’ll have to be better about blowing it out from now on.

Nope, I was kinda bummed because I liked the compressor. I may move it further away from the table so it’s not getting hit with sparks so directly.
