That's interesting. May just be a bug in the descriptions from ECU to ECU? Has anyone else with 04B04 noticed this?

I'm assuming that the table names are a function of VFTuner mapping the Toyota ECU table space to something layperson recognizable?

Would you estimate that if we could look at the 1.05 performance tune throttle request in VFT format, it would look something like this?

I'm obviously just going to try it anyways, but wondering what your thoughts are. Wondering if I'm headed in the right direction. Is it be more important that the numbers going left to right climb at a quicker rate or the numbers going top to bottom. I have no clue what they mean, even after your brief explanation... but it seems the graph on the right looks good :D

I run the 1.05 i just feel like its alot more peppier then any of the 2.0’s. I do however get a lot better gas mileage with 2.0

I just tried running the 1.05 performance today. Certainly peppier, but 2.0 is SO MUCH SMOOTHER. I figured if I play with the throttle request enough I can get it to "performance" feel. This game seems to certainly be all about the journey. It it rather fun, but seems to be somewhat consuming me as well. :D

Is there a user guide for all the tweaks? Or do we have to search this thread for shift points, alternator voltage, and other procedures?

    Atkinson cycle vs Otto cycle:

I have been monitoring intake VVT change angle. I understand the ECU modifies intake angles across a wide range depending on load and torque request to run otto cycle and simulated atkinson cycle. Is anyone able to give an education on what range of intake angles would correspond to simulated atkinson cycle, and which ranges would correspond to otto cycle? I am not trying to change anything right now, this is just to satisfy my curiosity at the moment.

There is not a detailed user guide yet that I am aware of. I've just been going slow and using the trial and error method. They've said they will run tuning webinars at some point in the future, I'm sure much more detail will be available at that time.

Will you "fix" throttle limits on 2.0? I.E. get rid of them?
If not, how difficult is it to modify this ourselves?

Vvt tables are not available in my version of vf.
But I'd like to fix a sudden RPMs drop in 3rd due to the vvt intake advancing, exhaust retarding.

Hopefully he does, or perhaps release a guide on how to adjust it using VF. I have a feeling this is Partly why my truck feels like it’s running limp mode through a turn.

I hope so two. Highly doubtful there's anyone that wants throttle limits in 2H, or even 4H. Give us da powa!
