Tested out the new gear (unfortunately none of the recovery equipment lol) with some friends on Wildcat Mountain within Hidden Falls in Marble Falls, Texas.

Had a blast, set up a small camp for lunch and break with minimal time mid-trail with all of our gear! Have a happy labor day y'all!

    Lift, tires, stuff
Pulled this dude out. He was SO close to rolling over this bank. Would have been the end of him and his 4Runner. If you look closely, you can see his front drivers tire is off the ground. That come along is hooked to like a 3-4 inch diameter pine tree. If it had broken, who knows what would have happened.

The front drivers tire lifted higher and higher as I winched him. Had to tighten the come a long to keep that tire close to the ground.

Yesterday installed probably my favorite mod, Desert Does It front seat jackers. Completely transformed the comfort of the front seat. I didn’t really have any complaints prior but decided to try them out anyway, and I am very glad I did.

How tall are you? I installed some spacers in the rear but it didn’t help much

I am 6’3”. I wanted to keep the rear the same so it didn’t bring my head any closer to the roof. These made it to where my legs now actually sit on the seat. Prior they wouldn’t hardly touch at all. With these installed on the front and leaving the rear alone it made it feel like a whole new seat.

i'm not quite as tall as you, but I'm mostly leg, and had the same experience. Game Changer.

My 6'7" son raves about them as well.

Head gasket is leaky and uses a little oil, but she made it!

Their website lists the plug for our trucks incorrectly. I cross referenced a couple of different sites plus a guy here at work. I did end up ordering directly from Femco. I ordered:

M12x1.25-T9 (P/N 7090010151 Compact SB - this includes plug, washer, cap)

M20 x 1.25 (P/N 750001 Compact Drainer) (The hose on the drainer is a little long, but can be cut to desired length)
