Miss having the Manual, and the 4 Runner does not have that option.

 

Something tells me that you would miss having the long bed. Unless they have a "diamond in the rough" with a TRD Pro DCLB in army green, with a Manual Trans, with the snorkel option.........now that I might actually think about moving to a 3rd gen for.

Well, he could always have someone chop it up and extend the bed to the long bed style.

Main difference is that it has lock boxes in the bed, and driver side one is insulated for cold drinks and stuff.

I am just kind of burnt out on the mod thing. Wife only has a few years left before she retires from her state job, then wants to travel for 2 straight years. Love the manual etc, so I think I will wait until I see some 2021's and make a decision.

Makes sense to me. The modding and all that is quite expensive and taxing, lol. That traveling does sound quite fun though. I wish I had the time and money for that at the moment.
