New Stereo = No Locker?

    Hey, I just had a stereo installed and decided to take little off-road trip to check it out. But my locker wouldn't not engage - it just kept blinking at me. It seems that I have read of this before but cannot find it. Anyone know what could poosibly have happened???

    Sometimes you have to roll the truck forward and backwards a couple times to get the locker to engage and also if it is a 4x4 and you have not done the gray wire mod then the truck has to be in 4lo

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Move the steering wheel back and forth while moveing forward. this should help the gears to align.

    Gene, I'm not about to doubt your abilities so I'm not going for the obvious. I would almost say tear into the schematics for the Taco and make sure that they didn't splice into the wrong wire thinking that your rig is a street queen and will never see the e-locker being used.

    I've got the FSM for your rig around here somwhere let me dig it up and pm me you e-mail addy so I can send it off.

    My lockers actuator fried on my 1999 taco.... The locker was fine just the actuator!

    Ouch! That'll hurt - I hope it doesn't come to that because I will have a funtioning locker! Thats why I bought a TRD to begin with.
