Installing Subs in regular cab

Anyone do it yet? I have like no room for it.. i dont need too much bass, just something small for some depth.

i also have one in my truck, a JL 13TW5, check out my build thread for some pics. before that i had a 10" Alpine Type S. As long as you keep the mounting depth in check, you should be good.

 

im 6' tall.. so i need the seats as far back as possible.. idk if it would still fit

 

I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure my seat goes all the way back, or at least one click away, with just the subs. I don't have the same problem as you( I'm pretty short) lol. Right now my seat doesn't go all the way back because of my 6x9s, but if i just have the sub in The only problem I had was the handle that you use to pull the seat forward would prevent it from going back but I just cut half of it off (passenger side)

 

Hmm... i guess ill just have to put some babys under the seats

 

i put an 8" in mine, im 6 ft and where i have it i have all kinds of room. let me find my thread

i have since mounted the amp and the sub better, the sub is 200 rms, the kicker amp puts out just about that and i have 2 channels going to my 6.5's, its a 3 channel amp
