The host has never been the issue it's the boss of the hosts that's a raging bitch.

After this weekend in Mammoth I can say that I've had enough smoke for a few months! We actually left a day early because it was so bad.

 

I’ve never see her around but if she’s around causing problems send her my way or come talk to me and I’ll chat with her. I just helped sell her a $10k generator for the Heartbar campground.

I’m pretty sure the lady you’re talking about was the wife of the old host which is long gone though

Its still showing site 1 booked. Did it ever open up? I really want to go to this

 

it might happen on Tuesday due to the holiday but I'm also worried that they might not re-issue them to save spaces for walk-ins or to keep the body count down.

 

Keep Louie @ellocodetroit in mind if you get a spot, he's looking for 1 also & y'all can split it. Anyone have room in their spot that wants to partner up with good people? I'll personally vouch for either of these guys

Just got an official email from the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce detailing the whole thing. Says it will be evaluated on a day to day basis. Sounds like there may still be hope

According to FS all campgrounds are closed on a day by day basis. I doubt they will keep it closed for the whole month. Just hope the fire doesnt make its way over san g mtn.

 

It’s going to be we a wild month. Stay tuned!

 

If we do get shut down I would be willing to drive to several central cities on the weekends and hand out TShirts.

 

If the campground stays closed I vote save them for the following year.
I hope it’s not closed though, I’m excited for San G!

 

One of the reasons they list is due to extreme heat. Its way colder up here tonight so there is still hope! The temperature can still drop drastically by the end of the month

 

Whats your backup plan if it doesnt go thru? Walmart parking lot?
