Oh sure, that too. But at least Frisco's smell is location dependant. There's some nice places, there too.

I've had the misfortune of flying to Vegas. And there's nothing like walking off the plane and getting hit in the face with the smell of cigarettes and vomit. I guess it's not until you get outside that you start smelling the pee.

Thats about right. Drive up to I70 from Moab and go east about 45 mins. You can make pretty good time depending on when someone comes to get you or you make the drive.

I'd also recommend making a stop in the CO liquor stores before you cross over the Utah line. It'll be much cheaper and a better selection. There's a place called "the liquor barn" stop there.

Also, Quesadilla Mobila is a must visit food truck in Moab.

Zax is good for unlimited albeit adequate quality pizza. Like CiCi's Pizza but I'm not banned from this place. :anonymous:

    Cool.

Man Im looking forward to this trip. Having to sit on a plane/airport all day with a mask on is gonna suck but it'll be worth it.

    Start drinking water now.

Between the altitude, sun exposure, and the 7% humidity, you'll prob get a few nosebleeds and headaches.

single or low teen percentages are about average for Moab. It's dry AF.

It's currently raining there and humidity is STILL only 58% per the NWS.

I do remember thinking it was weird to be using chapstick in the middle of summer last time I was out west. The dryness hits the second they open the door on the plane.

On the contrary, I went down to the Caymans for a SCUBA trip a couple years ago, and forgot my Virginia days of 100*/100%. Opened the cabin door and felt like I had a hot dish towel applied to my entire body.

yikes that's a good call...almost forgot that UT has all those alcohol restrictions. I'll have to stock up on the way before I hit UT

Gonna put in my request for the time off this week, I don't foresee it being an issue but with how things are at work these days (me being the only one in my dept), who knows. I haven't taken a day off though since we got back to work in May and have a bunch of PTO to use before the end of the year, so they better not complain.

Got the go-ahead from my wife on doing the trip as well, so provided work gives me the time off and nothing tragic happens with my brother in law requiring me to be home at that time, I should be good to go.
