Yup, it was a weld it yourself kit from Coastal Offroad. @Sociopenguin helped us weld it up, past 2 weekends we've spend grinding on it and today I got to paint it. Wired up some pods to go in there as well, but they are very, very bright, lol.

 

Wow good job everyone, it looks clean as fuck! I didnt even know that was a thing. Biggest plan on my mind is a 4x4 swap in my truck, but that's a long journey. Does the weld it yourself cost less?

 

Woof, 4x4 swap sounds rough! Weld it yourself costs a bit less, but I think a lot of the savings you get comes in the form of shipping costs. We got a deal because we group bought it.

 

Best way I can think is to buy a salvage truck from auction with rear end damage to swap from. Good shit, group buys are lit. Just got myself a rear tube bumper on a Labor Day sale. I ain't welding, but I'll be painting it!

Trail Gear, it's a really basic rear bumper, but it gains a good amount of clearance. I'm pretty maxed out on weight in my rear end and this option is only a 3rd the price and weight of a regular HC rear.
