Hi just put new LED bulbs in my 02 tacoma. Doesn't switch from high to low beams anymore and the high beam indicator seems to be nonexistent. Anybody know what the problem is or how to solve it?

Did you put in the proper bulb? H4/9003 style with high low? Preferably ones with shields similar to stock bulbs?

Alrighty, this is a fun one! I went through this many years ago when I converted to H4 housings with Hella 110w bulbs. Even though the sealed beam and the H4 bulbs use the same connector they do not have the same wiring. You need to swap two of the wires:

Verify with a multimeter but this should put you on the correct path. Instead of cutting the factory harness I added a H4 relay harness at the same time to support the larger draw of the bulbs and it was pretty painless to repin the connectors and get things working.

In order to get the high beam light to work on the dash, there must be some resistance in the bulbs. I added a second second socket, and put an HID bulb in it. That fixes the indicator. @Wulf probably answered the issue with no high low beams. I didn't encounter this.
