@ovrlndkull And I think you know I'm also not advocating that you shouldn't have, and know how to use, the tools to handle any situation. :anonymous:

I wrestled until 9th grade then did mma and tough man contests, as well have been in my fair share of scuffles. In the ring controlled is a completely different ball game. I too don't want it to come to that but if need be I want every advantage I can get. I'm also looking at it as a diciplined way to work out and get more exercise.

That's kind of the point I was awkwardly trying to get to. BJJ is great 1-1. But if you double-leg a dude in a bar and roll into an omoplata, just be prepared for his buddy kicking you in the head.

I have the exact same benchmade!!! My flashlight has a striking bezel and I also carry a steel "tactical" pen that holds the space cartridges.

Another thing I carry is the "tactical" man bag I have all sorts of shit that I don't slip into my pockets in that. I got use to carrying it when the kiddo was younger.

Best knife I've ever had. I use my flashlight for inspections in front of clients a lot so it can't be too TactiCOOL.

With mma training the gym I went to we just touched on the grappling part of bjj for submission we did a lot of other had to hand. I wish the krav maga place was still going. From what I've seen it's probably the best hand to hand "street" fighting techniques out there.

Ah makes total sense. Don't want to be scaring them. The tactical pens are nice because most of them just look like a fancy pen but can be used as a good striking weapon.

I need to go do some force on force training again it's been wayyyyy too long. Also need to go to some more pistol classes.

See I would say for "self-defense" Judo may be the way to go. Those dude that can throw well are impressive. And 99% of the time when you hip-toss a dude onto concrete he's not getting up.

I want a Glock 17, but can't fucking find one.

I have a P80 full size frame, but again, can't find parts for it.

Dude I LOVE this gun. I carried a Shield for almost ten years, never gave me any problems but this P365XL is so much better

See I like H&K, FN, and Walther. I have 2s&w wheel guns that's it.

I like my Glocks they are my "use" guns 20, 19,17, 43,&43x

I want to get some more full size ones like a ppq and such. Just spent the extra funds on other things.

My only experience was a when the first 365s first came out and they had some issues that they recalled and fixed. I'd love to get one. I like the weight of the sigs my buddy has a mid sized in .40

There were some issues in the first batch or so but it was largely overblown, as things tend to be on the internets. I'm not a Sig fanboy, hated the last one I had actually, P239, but this is the best carry gun on the market right now in my opinion.
