@Rome604 knows the specifics but I believe that aux lights with clear lenses no longer need covers.

Trail is really easy. There is a public campground in the back and 2wd cars are frequently there. There are some really nice Free primitive camp and fishing spots along the trail. I highly recommend it.

If it's a clear lens, opposed to an amber lens, AND above the height of your headlights then you're good. It doesn't need a cover.

You worded that in the most confusing way. Am I understanding this correctly?

Clear + below headlight = no bueno
Amber + below headlight = no bueno
Amber + above headlight = no bueno

Clear + above headlight = bueno

The reasoning is that if it's amber you need to be an authorized vehicle (ie tow truck, snow plow). If it's clear and below the height of the headlights then it's a "fog light" and needs to be SAE or have a cover.

If it's clear and above the headlights then it's ornamental. (It can't function during the inspection so pull your fuse).

If you end up catching flak at inspection time, let me know. I'd have to look, but I found a guy who makes rubber/suction cup covers for cheap. I have one for my bumper bar and it's perfect.

Minus the uphill that's my driveway, which is another 3/10s down dirt and crater road to paved county roadway...hell if we wash our cars it's while in town/at work...and you know it's all down hill once you get home.

Supposed to be good trout fishing but I can't confirm since I don't fresh water fish. Several miles of trails and the WMA is in 2 large tracks. I have only been up the way you described near Graves @caffeinated_medic has been through some of the other areas. I have been looking for a good map of the area as I would like to explore it all and do some camping up there it's only a half hour from me

That is a cool pic. So how is the bob and the front bumper and skid modification working? Enough you really tell the difference?

It’s a HUGE difference. I rarely hit my ass end on anything, and with the front I can approach stuff much more aggressively. Both made a significant improvement off-road.

It really does. Betty white is a beast off-road and it’s a direct result of my hard work.

depending on where you go though.. remember, I passed with amber BD squadron sports as my "drl"/fogs, and an Amazon roof light bar.

Also, doesnt the rule "if its there, it needs to work" apply?

And my RTT blocks my 3rd brake light

I explained what the law is. Your squadron sports are illegal according to the law. Whoever inspected your vehicle gave you a pass. You got lucky.
