That's between you and the insurance company!! Reminds me of one of the best financial events of my life. Had a 16 ft runabout boat that didn't perform at all well, and one of my buddies and I built a performance engine for it. Just got it back on the water, moored at a marina, and some douche bag fills his bilge with a bunch of gasoline, and manages to catch it on fire. Drifts over into all of the big pontoon boats, setting about 10 on fire, along with my runabout. It burned the cover, and most of the interior, but didn't hurt the engine, etc. I had replacement cost insurance coverage through my homeowners, and they paid to replace every old life jacket, skis, ropes, everything in that sucker, plus paid for all of the "improvements" for our engine job. Then because they didn't have any rights to the trailer, they sold us the salvage for $300. We sold the salvage for $2500, and together with all the other cash, we had enough to buy a brand new Chris Craft 17 footer, with 185 horse I/O, that would absolutely scream. Enough umpfh to let me barefoot waterski.
