@JKO1998 what kind of boots do you wear?

I had a pair of Cabela's 800g full leather boots that lasted about 6 years but they weren't waterproof any more by the end of life and my dog decided to eat one. I found that 800g was too heavy because my boots were usually soaked in sweat by the time I got to my spot and after changing socks I was still having issues with cold feet while staying in place.

Went to Bass pro but I didn't realize they closed at 8 so I only got to try on a pair of Danners, Irish Setters, and a different Cabela house brand boot. Left empty handed for not wanting to impulse buy

I'm sure it better then that. if you are filling up when the like comes on you are probably only 15 gallons.

Kenetrek 400’s for the colder months, but they’ll hurt your wallet, worth it though.

    Just keep them oiled

Alright I swear I’ve put a bit over 18 gallons in mine and our tanks are 18.5 gallons but I might be mistaken.

Damn, that would probably be many years for me. The worst they see is a week a year at elk camp and snow storm duty at home. Winter hikes I wear my Keens since I'm always moving and don't have to worry about getting cold as much.

I've thought about wearing my Keens hunting but I think I need some insulation
