I dont think its as bad as sandpoint but they do get snow. The Plummer post master lives in Harrison but commutes to Plummer daily via St maries. That road between St Maries and Plummer gets bad but they usually get it plowed quickly.
The chain lakes are near Harrison which is nice

not bad. This is still being considered as a retirement place, so roads being cleared can be waited for. Not commuting.

Air quality for Spokane, Cd’A. Looks pretty shitty right now. How’s it looking for this weekend?
We’re set to fly up Thursday but willing to cancel if there’s going to be health issues. We’re there to look at real estate and get some immersion into Local life.

Yes, you are correct about that. Guess I should have said I need ground, just not snow. a CRF250 and BMW GS both like playing on forest roads ;)

Been there... I grew up in Michigan. Had them as kids. I might consider it after being there a while, but I (we) have too many other hobbies and toys to keep us busy for a while.

I don’t like riding dunes, I think it’s pretty freaking boring. But whatever it is about the different feeling of leaning the sled over deep in a turn, or just getting blasted with a face full of powder, such an incredible feeling. Best days out ripping around the bc with friends just watching each other rag doll

Just enough to look kinda cool.
Watching your friend fail over and over is definitely the best part at least until you try it and can't do it either.

    I go up a
Fuck, we had one last year, end of the day and pretty tired, getting out of this drainage, really not that hard but we just made fools of ourselves. My buddy got out, I got stuck on the climb up and he had to come down and help. Then I made it out and he got stuck so i come back down to help, then I got stuck. So he comes back down again and same shit, i get out, and he gets stuck on the climb out. Luckily he freed himself that time and was finally able to climb out and we cruised back to the trail head.

Shitty looking weekend between the smoke and the rains... postponed the trip for 2 weeks. Rebooked everything... hoping for much better weather. I can deal with the rain, but I kind of need to be able to breathe...

Was over 300 just 2 days ago... dropping pretty reasonably. Rain should knock a lot of the particulate out of the air :fingerscrossed:
