The Two fire complexes nearest to me were over 50% contained. I was hoping for calmer weather so this doesn’t go again.

If you get texts from a new number such as ...
    Screenshot_20200908-195155_Messages.jpg

    Then, its probably Rob.

The first one I got from his old number before I knew it was him and was on the way to Jon's going away camping event was a photo of poop in a toilet bowl. He likes to mess with folks so beware.

Ya... looks like Dusy, Swamp, Coyote, Mirror lakes and Bald Mountain could be pretty fucked.

Yep. The Creek Fire just started a spot fire over by Courtwright. NW end of the lake about 3/4 mile from the start of the Dusy. It's high on a ridge that separates Helms Creek from Dusy Creek. Not good.

It's like tactical missles were launched at all the Off Road trails.

And notice, now they started closing all the Nat Forests yesterday... and a fire seems to have lit up today, in every Nat Forest that wasn't closed as of this morning.

If it wasn't so effing dry, I'd start wondering about arson.

    It IS f'n dry.

And that's no reason to rule out arson.

These trails will have a radically different nature after these fires. The amount of run-off damage will be significantly increased. Erosion in certain spots on Coyote, Dusy and the Rubi will make them way more challenging. My 3 favorite trails might be forever altered.
