you’re not wrong. I’m only one person . I’m sure they won’t have issues selling them, but it sucks waiting all this time to be told I can’t put it on because I daily my truck basically. I’ll just find another rout at this point. Oh well. Life shall go on

They didn't say you can't their 36k mile full powertrain warranty doesn't apply to you. They will still warranty the supercharger and related parts of that. I also don't know of any other forced induction company on the market for the 3.5 tacoma that offers that kind of warranty.

    http://www.magnusonsuperchargers.co...TED POWERTRAIN WARRANTY STANDARD 20170605.pdf

Whipple's warranty is worse than Magnusons for just the chargers and doesn't even offer the full powertrain warranty. This is how most aftermarket forced induction systems operate.

X2. When you enter this level of modifications, accept the risk that is going with it. You are buying something that has not been long term proven, why would they offer ANY warranty on your existing powertrain. I get the warranty for the product itself(supercharger) but anything on top of that is just icing if included.

OVTune will be providing a warranty with their TT kit if your truck has 60k or less at the time of install.

Not trying to hijack the thread and change the topic to turbos for anyone that's already got their pitchfork out. Just replying to his statement. Lol

Expect a 2-3 MPG given the extra weight the blower adds to the vehicle, the parasitic loss a crank driven supercharger adds to make the same gains it makes plus the extra heat generation it creates.

That being said, you should expect a 60-70* temperature reduction once the air charge hits the lower intake plenum (meaning once the air has been compressed by the twin screws and has went through the intercooler itself).

Don't forget the fuel starved engines due to failing fuel pumps, as well as the cases of oil starved engines.

Yet another vid for the Mag-charger with a truck doing a donut but no real substantial information given.

Didn't see a single in cab pull, just someone doing a fly buy, donuts with 99% filler nonsense of someone jacking their jaw.

I'm starting to think the supercharger is like the TRD intake all blow and no go for the dough

It's basically the $7k TRD intake at this point. I'm starting to wonder if gainz are weak and like all good influencers no one wants to admit they got fucked buying it

Everything I've seen so far looks like they rushed their product out to "social influencers" to be first in the market. It looks like they got the bare minimum tune for the truck to run safely at probably next to no boost. They have probably been putting a bunch of time into tuning for CARB approval.

It's a nice setup, and I have no doubt that eventually it will make reasonably good power, but I think they are shooting themselves in the foot. Unless they have a good production tune developed by the time they release it main stream, they are going to get a ton of blowback from this.

If you're Magnuson, just the labor and electricity to run it. I'm sure they have their own.....
