I’m gonna have a pair of Baja designs squadron pro’s for sale soon (or now if someone has the cash). Comes with amber and clear wide cornering lenses and an unused harness from BD.

While I agree with you for the most part, BJJ does have children’s belts. BJJ is absolutely the best combat sport for a child to build self-confidence and maturity. The difference between kids in a BJJ program and a TKD program is night and day.

Having said that, having your child in ANY program AND actively training is just awesome parenting.

Krav is awesome for the average person walking off the street to learn some really basic survival fighting skills. The problem with most, not all, Krav academies is that they seem to get stuck on basics. Most people are new, last six months to a year and drop out. Therefore, the school is always teaching and training basics. Nothing wrong with that, but it gets boring.

Oh nice, I like training with Brandon and Jason up there. Never been to Pendergrass, but competed in his Grappling Tourneys. I kind of got away from Royce Gracie and Team ROC about six years ago.........

They absolutely have children’s belts. I was just referring to that they can’t progress past a certain belt before a certain age. This is my oldest receiving her 4th tip from a 3rd Degree Black Belt in BJJ (not sure if that’s what they call it, was supposed to start training, but fucking covid) from Brazil

I've been considering the P365XL as my conceal. Also been looking at the Glock 23. My Glock 22 isn't really concealable. And yes to more range time.... TW group trip??

Where do you train at? Kids are currently training at Art of Motion BJJ in Indian Trail, but their limited schedule doesn't fit a time slot I can train in.

Kids and ex trained at Sparks Martial arts before tha 'Rona. Owner was having health issues (rare cancer), and timing lined up to temporarily close it. Personally want to train where I won't see my ex flaunt the man she left me for. I will most likely hit you up after the divorce is finalized.

Oh crap, that sucks. Okay, let me know. I been training BJJ for 20 years. We also do wrestling, judo, muay thai. Total around NC, SC and GA is 14 academies (I think, lost count). We have a dozen black belts.

It is a chill environment. No one wants to hurt anyone.

I’m out of practice but dropped into a class at a local school that I won’t name. Rolled with a black belt who proceeded to foot lock and crank before I had a chance to tap. 6 months before my ankle felt normal again.
