Great deal on Pro headlights. Unfortunately I already ordered the BHLM from the BST thread

If I was not waiting for the 17” dark bronze BR6s to be in stock, I’d go after these.

Speaking of wheels, @RobP62 did you add any spacers to yours or anything. I’m slightly concerned about rubbing with 17” wheels with -10 offset and the 255/80. I’m pretty sure it’ll work well.

Just out of curiosity the BR6's are 17x8 or 8.5 -10 offset? What lift are you running? Any UCA's?

Yea, the 8.5” -10 offset/4.30 backspace. I’ve got the Ironman Foam Cell Pro and the front is sitting close to 23.5” from center cap. Gave me about 3” of lift. My truck was sitting at 21.5” before the lift when I measured. I’ve got OEM UCAs right now but looking at the JBAs, and reading to see if they’ll clear the tire.

JBA's will clear with aftermarket wheels from what i read. which you will be running plus jba's are high caster uca's so it should push your wheel forward away from the cab mount. I ran 255/80/17's on a second gen with 2.25-2.5" of lift and i didnt have any issues when i ran fj wheels then i switched to 17x8 -10s and had all kinds of rubbing issues. it all really does come down to offset.

It sure does. With each truck being slightly different, that makes it a little tougher. Hopefully no issues but I’m prepared if there are. Going to try and avoid the CMC, which is why I’m not going 285/70/17s. Maybe in the future. Thanks for the insight!

this is what i hopped for on my second gen. in the long run i wish i would of just did 285's since i ended up cmc and beating the pinch weld.

Thats kinda why i decided to do 255's on stock wheels on the 3rd gen i didnt want the rubbing issue since i use the truck as a work truck.

That makes sense. I’d like to avoid it for now but if I need to I’ll do it. I’ve read several posts of the -10 offset working with 255/80 and not rubbing. Gonna take the gamble and hope for the best.

I had a 2nd gen with a 3” spacer lift and was able to fit 285/75/16s and only rubbed in reverse and full lock. I’ve got no idea what backspace or offset or even brand the wheels were.
