Using that same argument, how many people were disappointed with the 2nd gen tacoma?

There’s definitely a lot more disappointed 3rd gen owners. Just because you have a good reputation doesn’t mean you cant screw something up.

To add they don't make the supercharger. It's an Eaton TVS unit; it's already proven to make great power. And vastly superior to the old ones used on the 4.0.

The last toyota product magnuson screwded up was the 5vz blower, because they did it non intercooled and did not have a tuning option for it (pinged high gear / low RPM). It was cheap tho, like $1800 back in it's "prime".

If you don’t know, you’ve probably bought a bunch of bunk products, you don’t need, based on misleading info.

I'm a nobody, not an influencer, no big social media presence, etc. I live near Magnuson, have a friend who works there, and have driven a supercharged manual transmission taco.

I thought the truck drove nicely with the blower. has more get up and go in 2nd and 3rd when merging onto the highway. sorry not very helpful for those looking for the Dyno charts. one thing that surprised me though is that its very quiet. the whine isn't super prominent.

    Lots to come
At the end of the day dyno charts dont mean much. They all have huge variations. One shop says it makes 500 another 550. This kit is designed to make a fully kitted truck on 33s or 35s drive stock again. Its not a race truck. Even a tundra with a blower making 550 isn't that fast. Its definitely quick but ita not a race car ans still is 6000lbs

Power to weight, a SC double cab tundra is just shy of an STI subaru. So yes, not fast, but pretty damn quick.

Last time, I paid around 80 bucks for 3 pulls at a group dyno session.

People looking for dyno charts aren’t looking to see how big the number gets, they want to see the curve and where the power is compared to stock. Having a bunch more power at 4000+ rpm doesn’t help this truck any..

Dynos don't give accurate low rpm numbers. Which is why you don't see recorded pulls from idle. It's just not how wheel dynos work. Best representation of low end power is to see how fast boost builds.

That’s cool. The more tuners the better. The hardware is there, it’s just a matter of the right refinement/tuning.
I actually spoke to gadget on the phone a while back about the rotrax install. It posted ~340whp IIRC. I asked him what was the limiting factor to crank it up. He said nothing, He was happy with the output and didn’t feel the need to push it more.

For what it is worth. I am not a shop. I am not a company. I am just an enthusiast like you all who made a very financially irresponsible decision and bought my kit without any of the information you all want. I’ll be happy to get you the answers you seek when the kit comes in.

The hardware continues to impress me.

I feel bad for the peeps that traded over a trash Stock tune. WTF, Toyota!?

FWIW, I sincerely hope they have a polished tune before they start mass shipments. For both your sake, and theirs.
