    I'm surprised any rental agency would have a manual after the year 2000

    Somehow, we made the hour drive from the airport to the hotel in 46 minutes :notsure: Pretty sure my boss' handprints are firmly embedded in the pax side door handle.:rofl: His only objection was when I was fiddling with the screen menus, he asked what I was doing, and I said "trying to turn of traction control"

    yeah I was surprised too, especially in a car like that. Figure everyone that requests it is looking to beat the piss out of it lol. I was half expecting the clutch to be on it's way out but it worked OK

    In the US, yeah. Lotta rental places is Europe still have manuals. Ton of fun to take a manual A-class Merc up to your AirBnB for the night high in the Swiss alps. :burnrubber:

    Its not a walk in the park, but its not the Rubicon. A good spotter for that section is worth their weight in gold though.

    Is everyone leaning towards 16th-19th?
    *edit just voted so I could see since im a dumbass

    I'd be down to go but have an appointment with the DMV to register my trailer finally, but its afternoon of the 16th. I hate the DMV :annoyed:

    Could head out of town after that, around 1600

    This is what I was hoping to hear from those that have been there.

    @esxcli

    It may turn out to be a bit boring for ya, since you've got a built rig.

    The rest of us are showing up in only bolt-on trucks.

    Minor lift, and all terrains will be what most will run including me, Tyler, and Justin. Daniel will have a rental so we can't count that.

    I have looked at 'most recommended' trails for Moab and there are tons but those you listed are a good place to start.

    I'm most looking forward to the scenery, being someplace I've never been before and getting to camp and hang with cool people. I'm up for whatever trails the majority is good with.

    I do need my truck to make the 11 hour trip home the following Monday in one piece so I can't do anything too crazy lol

    Gonna stock up on some extra parts though to bring just in case, pick up some aftermarket LBJs, tie rods and CV axles etc. I always bring tools and fluids on any trip so that will covered.

    I'm on the same boat really, but some light wheeling and exploring will make the trip even more worth it.

    @jbrandt
    @BartMaster1234

    Have you guys decided if you're just going straight out there, or if we're meeting up to head out?

    Ryan, I would invite you over the day prior but your drive is shorter if you leave from home.

    Yeah if everything works out I plan on leaving Thursday, ideally I'd go up to you guys first but that would add another several hours to the trip :(

    Get AAA or find yourself a title shop. I pay a title shop $25 and they can do all the DMV stuff. I’m in and out in 10 minutes.

    I want to stress we really need to plan our schedule day by day; what routes to take, where we’re camping, etc. because if we don’t it’s not going to end up very fun.
