Now that I’m ready to purchase, it looks like rockauto doesn’t have the right side in stock. And, I can’t seem to find the Freedoms for 3rd gen Tacos on Amazon. Did they pull them?

I watched those Mevotechs on Rockauto all through March and one side went out of stock when I was finally ready to pull the trigger but were back in a few business days. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you go to extreme terrain outfitters, they have the freedoms for 12% off.

those arms dont look the same as SPC's. The pictures of these ones show tubular ones whereas SPC has the laft arms.

I have the freedom UCAs on my 2009. Just ordered King 2.5’s extended travel. Is anyone running extended coil overs with these? I’m 99% sure they won’t be an issue, but curious to hear from someone doing it.

I got these arms based on this thread - I will say Freedom Offroad is unfortunately mis-speaking on their product. It does provide caster correction to a degree - not as much as SPC's etc. but I would say at least in line with Camburgs. I've got a 2.5" lift on my 4Runner and I'm sitting at 3.8 caster - I think if a specialty shop did it they could pull 4 degrees and keep everything else in spec.

The ball joints are moved towards the back of the truck, which is what give you caster.

Edit - I've been a lurker here for quite some time - figured I'd finally chime in! Also, I've got about 6K miles on these arms and ZERO issues so far.

I ended up getting some JBA’s to go with my kings so I will have a set of lightly used freedom UCAs soon if anyone is interested.

Also, I will have a stock UCA, JBA high caster UCA, and a freedom UCA off the truck all at once here in the next couple weeks. So if someone wants a good comparison picture/measurement let me know what would be the best way.

Also, this. Who knows? They have enough room for 5100's and 886 coils and some to spare, but I didn't want to risk it with the extended King's.

I've been doing some digging since I just picked up a set of these. Thanks to everyone who posted up their findings, the HardRace clue has been helpful but i'm still not able to find an off the shelf replacement BJ.

looks like the International Ford Ranger ( model year 2011 + ) uses the same UCA as we do, Same PN, same BJ replacement number, See link below

    https://www.hardrace.co.uk/vehicle-...-11.html?SID=56d49620e92080657610a3b518e9d8be <---- Ford Ranger
    https://www.hardrace.com/Product_detail.asp?id=3759 <----- Taco

but that's about as much additional info as I got. Still can't find anyone who's found a Moog, or ACDelco equivalent to this BJ.

does anyone know of a way to look up Ball Joints based on dimensions?

FWIW, my BJ's are stamped on the top with 8596-BJ, but that search result comes up blank for me.

Looking to buy these this week, just wanted to confirm:
    - These have zerk for greasing?
    - They will help with positive camber?

Zerk fitting? Yes, only on ball joint, not at the connection to the frame.

Positive caster. Yes. They state nothing changes but I'm sitting at 3.8 and 4.0 caster with a 2.5" lift (at least on my 4Runner). It's unfortunate they are mis-speaking on their own product. Here is a photo of the arms directly over OEM arms - the real difference is the ball joints are moved towards the back which in fact does provide caster

Good to know, so the ball joint being set further back helps eliminate the positive camber?
