Some additional updates. Got a Northstar AGM480 for the canopy, RedArc TowPro Elite and Battery Manager 30 coming. Having my fab guy make me a panel for the back of the canopy that all the new electrical will be on. Going to order a switch-pros 9100 if I cant find a used 8100 (I have an 8100 in the engine bay so ideally it would be the same but...)

Did a little more work on the trailer this weekend. Re-,ountd brackets for the buggywhips, mounted one of the spare Squadron Pro's to the rack. Did a quick sand and re-stain the baseboards as weather had taken it toll on the previous set-up

 

been a little bit since i’ve updated this. working on an aussie style electrical panel. waiting on redarc battery manager30 dc-dc controller.

connected are switch pro 8100, powers all the lights & accessories.

 

made a strap for the battery today out of some flat stock i had in the garage. drilled and ran 2 nutserts into the bed to bolt into.

well like that truck and canopy are sold. brought home a new project. '75 swallowtail rabbit, and will be buying a 11-14 tdi touareg here shortly. needs / wants have changed a bit since i didnt use the truck.

Left at 2am Sunday morning. Drove from Long Beach to Sacramento, bought the rabbit and booked home. Got back in LB around 7:15 sunday evening, long day.

Super stoked on the car so far, now I just need to figure out how i'll fit in it.

 

I gotta say I’m sad to see the truck go. Good luck with the new toy.

So Final Rabbit form. We took some work UTV's out and I was like fuck this car. Traded the rabbit for a stock '17 Can Am X3.

Ended up flying to AZ to grab a A7 TDI.

Ended up buying a '00 LX470 last month. Sold The A7 after just under a years ownership, it was a phenomenal car, but I ended up deciding to get rid of all car payments so I sold the A7 and just paid the wifes Golf Sportwagen off yesterday.

Now i've just got this, the can am, and im shopping for KTM Adventure bikes again. LX so far has my scheel Manns, new audio to install. Going to run 2 more Scheel Manns, for 4 captains chairs. probably all the same dumb shit I did to the tacoma.
