V3.0 of my still to be perfected pale ale. This one spent way too long in the fermenter and that’s my fault, but the hop presence is so subdued it’s more like a dark blonde. It’s drinkable, but far from my favorite beer I’ve made. My last iteration was a sink pour so I’m making progress lol

So I lied that the Marzen was my first kegged beer. To break my Anvil Foundry in, I brewed a simple blonde ale. I proceeded to keg it and left it in the fridge with no gas on it whatsoever while I dragged my feet on finishing my keg set up. I chalked it up as a loss, but I went ahead and put gas on it and let it sit. Turns out it’s a damn fine beer and the only beer out of 3 on tap that I am enjoying right now.

I'm really wondering how a kviek lager works, since they seem to sit at opposite ends of the fermenting temp spectrum. Was it a kviek yeast done at a lager temp?

I honestly wouldn’t even call it a lager. It’s a decent beer, but not lager-y at all. There’s definitely a kveik twang for lack of a better term.
