I have receipts on everything, unfortunately don’t think they’re covered unless previously noted. And the shop owner that it was parked at doesn’t have insurance I just found out.. :censored:

Made a custom grill, got the mesh from custom car grills and painted it. Also painted the bezel white to match

The duplicolor paint sucks to work with and doesn't match very well - use something else

First time towing with it since I bought it in May. It’s probably been about 14 years since I last towed anything. Backing up is NOT like riding a bike LOL

Finished my install of my SmittyBilt X20 Synthetic winch onto my ARB bumper. Install wasn't too bad, didn't need to remove the bumper or add spacers to the winch. Mounted solenoid box onto the winch frame itself pointed towards the radiator. Still plenty of room and being tall it's not too hard to reach the wireless remote switch from engine bay or under bumper. Only thing that threw a wrench into a smooth install was realizing I needed an offset hawse fairlead and the one that came with the winch wasn't gonna work. Ordered a very pretty Factor 55 fairlead and 3 days later boom! Winch install finished. Complete with matching power kill switch from @Gilmorec61. Everything working great!

Think I'm gonna get a Factor 55 flatlink to replace the hook. I don't like having it hanging out like that and if I snug it up against the fairlead I'm worried it'll start gouging the aluminum.

UNI filter mod and scheduled a Certified Used warranty visit for the weatherstripping TSB, a tail light LED out, and a weird pop/knock when I go over decent size bumps with the wheel cranked either direction.

Man it all looks killer brother!! With the cutoff switch installed, you can leave the switch on the solenoid box in the ‘on’ position at all times, and then use the switch as your ‘on’ and then use the wireless remote. Shouldn’t have to touch the solenoid box!! Good to know that if you need to you can though.

Highly recommend the f55 flatlink too! Not only does it look gangsta, it increases the safety of a recovery by creating a ‘closed loop’ system. If you do get one, I suggest the one with the larger, oval shaped eyelet, so you don’t have to worry about double shackling in certain scenarios.

Thanks again for the support man! Can’t wait to see it all in action

Didn't even think about leaving the wireless on all the time now. Another bonus to an already dank kill switch! And ordered the Factor 55 Flatlink E (one with the oval) about 5 minutes after I posted about thinking about one haha. It'll be here Monday. Thanks again! Now I can hit some of these nastier trails solo without worrying about being unable to get myself unstuck.
