3rd Gen Quicksand thread

I got $30k trade in for my '16 sport with 55k miles, and paid $43k for this one + TTL. My truck has the premium interior, so I got the sunroof, JBL sound, heated leather seats and all that jazz. All in all, I think it was fair. They swapped my wheels and tires for me, gave me the blackout kit, and I got an extra grand on the trade-in from what they offered.

The power drivers seat is almost worth the money alone. I always felt like I was sitting below the damn hood scoop in my sport and there was no way to raise the seat.

 

Just picked up this beauty a few weeks ago. 2018 SR4 4x4. That Quicksand color had me at first sight.

 

thinking about switching out my Dakar’s for the rxt. Which stage did you end up going with?

Didn’t get the wheels I was initially planning on getting, but these ones seem to go well with the quicksand imo

Just wanted to share that I love all these trucks and am extremely sad that quicksand is no more for 2021.

A bit of wheeling over the weekend

 

I thought 3rd gen quicksand's were kinda rare. How come I went by 4 of them today on my 60 mile commute?
Plus one of my fellow workers neighbor has one and there is one at the restaurant we sometimes go to lunch at. I also see 3 of them around my hometown. Mass is full of them. I think I see more of them then I did my 2nd gen dark blue.

 

Same!!! Never noticed them in QS before. Now, I see them ALOT. Not, as much as white tho. Even tho the "what color is your 3rd gen" poll on this forum show QS to be *edit* 4th -5th most purchased.

It’s interesting. I rarely see another Quicksand Tacoma in my city of approximately 90,000, but this morning I spotted a Quicksand Tacoma and Quicksand 4Runner less than a mile of each other.
