Can always take your time and make a trip of returning too, not like anyone is eager to return to the red sky of mordor.

285 70 17 is the perfect size imo, you just wish you had 4.88s

No need to cut or hammer, small enough tundra brakes stop them fine, wide enough to have traction, enough sidewall to not be weak, but just big enough to slow you down

I really like my 295/70/17s with my 4.88s. Although I sometimes wish I went with 5.29s

California is having a rough year and it’s not over. That freak lightening storm in august wrecked havoc. just say this on IG

Sept/Oct is usually the worst of it, and we're only in the beginning of September. Assuming there's anything left to burn come October.

Anyway, as for Tacomas I got my new poly LCA bushings installed today. Due to the crazy heat and intense smoke/air quality lately I had our local 4x4 shop do it. Getting it aligned tomorrow and hopefully that fixes my whacky front end alignment issue I've been having.

Trying to get the truck in ship shape for Moab next month

Got the first couple coats of base paint on the bed. While there are a few places I need to fix, it's back on the truck! Need to wash the front and then I can work on blend/clearcoat next.

I think I need to do my LCA bushings. Trucks at 95k. I recently did LBJs, uniballs, inner/outer tie rods and rack bushings and it still feels like it could be tighter in the front end. How much did it cost to get it done? I really don’t want to do it haha I probably will tho.

Anyone remember the torque spec for the crank pulley? 200’lbs or something... going up to fab shop and doing timing belt and stuff on Saturday. I’ve done it before just can’t remember exact spec...

You probably don't need it in general, but all the torque specs for the timing belt job are in this step-by-step write up of the process in case you need others.
