    I know you’re probably looking for automatic but I’m a 6-speed MT with 255/85-16 (33’s) and at 70mph (114kph) I run 2850ish rpm.

LRA 33 gallon fuel tank. CBI front bumper. Fab Four rear bumper. All Pro sliders. Anytime fr/rr camera. 35” Falken RT01. Raptor lined exterior.
    4.88 with 305/70r16. Front n rear steel bumpers, shell, full-size spare n sliders. 2600rpm at 70mph. 2 weeks into the new gears and couldn’t be happier.

    DD- possibly but it’s not daily driven. Will take the mileage hit on the highway to have a more drivable truck. I knew I was going to be overgeared when I planned this but I have a heavy ass truck.
    Wheeling- nope, love the lower gears and tractor like crawling in 4lo.

    Go with 4.88s.

    I went 4.56 which offset the diameter change but not the weight. Should've gona 4.88s.

    Your gas mileage gon' get fucked in the face, bet dat.

    What about for expedition wheelin, do u all believe 456s or 430s for 285s and the typical expo setup; bed rack, RTT, bumpers , gear, etc? Thanks for help in advance

    Good point, just trying to keep the Rpms low traveling from place to place at around 80 mph

    4.56 as above!

    If you're in expo mode then you'll be heavy and loaded down with gear.....IMO 80mph is WAY to fast for that. I have a 70mph max speed set for me when I'm loaded and unloaded but mostly travel at 65mph.

    I would say it 4.56 if your AT and sticking with 285 or 33’s range. If your a MT you could go to 4.30. I was fairly heavy and that was great. Now I’m really heavy 7k lbs 315’s and 4.56 is ok but I wish I I’d gone 4.88. But if you plan on staying where you are your good at 4.56. My buddy has 4.56 on 295’s and MT and loves it.

    I was about to ask you that in your build thread. I had originally planned on 4.56 but after hearing what people said with 35s, decided on 4.88

    are you Auto or MT? If your MT 4.56 prob is ok and folks say its about the same as 4.88 with the Auto. I need to take a spin in a truck with 4.88 to really know. Even now it rocks pretty good I can imagine that the RPMs on 4.88. Right now i am good with it but any more it would be screaming. (I would prob still go 4.88)

    I’m auto. Try to keep the highway at 65 mph max so I should be okay. Will be adding more weight too in the future (bumpers, winch) so it’ll be nice then. I’ll be on 4.88 and 33s for a bit which will be crazy lol

    yah that is why I did not go with 4.88 as I was not sure when I would go the bigger tire size. (I should have known better and did not take long).

    4.56 AT with 315's I am running 25-2600 at 70 mph. so 4.88 will be closer to 3k. Depends on how much DD/Freeway your doing.

    Can tell ya first hand, 2600 rpm at 70mph with s/c, auto, n 4.88’s.
